David Clarke Made A Crude Gay Joke About Joe Biden—And Twitter Went IN

The controversial ex-sheriff has been banned from Twitter in the past.

Controversial ex-sheriff David Clarke dragged Joe Biden this week, teasing the former vice president with a gay-rape "joke" after Biden called out Donald Trump's history of sexism.

At a rally Tuesday, Biden said he had no interest in debating Trump: "I said, ‘If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'"

"I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life," the 75-year-old pol added. "I’m a pretty damn good athlete. Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest SOB in the room."

In response, Clarke, the Milwaukee sheriff turned Fox News pundit, tweeted that it was suspicious Biden spent so much time in locker rooms.

"Please tell us why and what you were doing hanging around all those locker rooms, Joe?" Clarke wrote "Taking in the sights? Did the soap keep falling out of your hands, Joe?"

The response to the tweet was pretty immediate.

Extreme athlete Dane Rauschenberg wrote he was surprised Clarke thought being in a locker room "immediately involves lots of gay sex," adding, "I guess that ridiculous beard you sport is also metaphorical, huh?"

But Clarke, who has been suspended from Twitter for incendiary tweets in the past, wasn't deterred. Just hours later he was attacking out Senator Tammy Baldwin as "irrelevant" and made a crude comment about Maxine Waters.
