Trump's Latest Cabinet Candidate: Transgender People Are Freaks And The Pulse Massacre Was A Distraction

"Any freakish lifestyle is now considered part of the norm," said David Clarke.

Another day, another anti-LGBT contender for a spot in Trump's White House inner circle.

This time around, it's Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who the president-elect is reportedly considering to run the Department of Homeland Security.

Speaking on TheBlaze Radio Network earlier this year, Clarke accused the massacre at Orlando's Pulse nightclub of being used as a distraction from attacks against Hillary Clinton.

"We allowed the left to use gun control as a shiny object to distract us from Mrs. Bill Clinton’s flaws," Clarke said. “We were hammering her over Benghazi, and what the left do is exploit these distractions, something came up, a shiny object."

He went on to discuss transgender people on the show, declaring they have mental disorders that lead to their "freakish lifestyle."

“Folks, more evidence that transgender persons suffer from mental disorders more than physiological disorders," the sheriff said. "Too often in this assault on the First Amendment, and this very totalitarian attitude from the left that any freakish lifestyle is now considered part of the norm, and they’re shoving it down our throats."

These are just the anti-LGBT reasons to be terrified of Clarke gaining power in Washington, by the way.

The Republican sheriff also suggested that about 1 million people should be sent to Guantanamo Bay if they use "jihadi rhetoric" online, and also referred to the Black Lives Matter movement as "Black Lies Matter."
