Demi Lovato Has Experimented With Women, Sang Whitney Houston With Tom Hardy

*whispers* "Don't tell your mother."

Demi Lovato teased her apparently ambiguous sexuality during a recent appearance on English comedian Alan Carr’s late-night show Chatty Man.

Carr probed the 23-year-old singer about some peculiar lyrics in her new song “Cool for the Summer” that seem to suggest some sexual experimentation.

“I think it’s got a bit of a sinister message,” Carr said before reading aloud these lyrics:

“Tell me what you want, what you like

It’s ok, I’m a little curious too

Even if they judge

Fuck it, I’ll do the time

I just want to have some fun with you

Got a taste for the cherry

I just need to take a bite

Take me down into your paradise"

Carr suggested the song was about lesbianism, to which Lovato said, “I’m not confirming, and I’m definitely not denying. All my songs are based off of personal experiences.”

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with experimentation at all,” said Lovato. Carr, who is openly gay, joked that he “experimented once, but it stuck.”

“Hey, I didn’t say it didn’t stick either!” Lovato quipped.

The two went on to discuss how they’d like to see more male pop stars discussing experimentation in their music, noting how refreshing it would be to break the double standard, since women seem to do it more often.

Lovato, who is currently dating Lindsay Lohan’s ex Wilmer Valderrama, was fittingly joined by actor Tom Hardy later in the program. They lip synched for their lives to Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and it was amazing.

She also revealed that she had a tattoo on her wrist covered recently because it looked like a "moldy vagina":
