Demi Lovato turned the new video for her hit single “Really Don’t Care” into a platform for love and inclusion by filing it at L.A. Pride earlier this month.
“I realized the song kind of had this negative energy to it that’s really not me,” Demi told NewNowNext. “When it came time to record the music video, I thought, ’what’s a way we can turn this into an empowering message?’ It just so happened to fall on the timeline of [L.A.] Pride, and I was grand marshal… so I said why don’t we just shoot it at Pride? It was one of the best days of my life.”
