Scott Eastwood Said No To "Fifty Shades Of Grey" Because Of Full-Frontal Nudity
Scott Eastwood posted this curious Instagram back in October 2013, right around the time producers were casting the Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation.
It makes sense now, though, as Eastwood told USA Today he auditioned for the role of Christian Grey—the part landed first by Charlie Hunnam and then Jamie Dornan.
But the project gave him a bad feeling and he walked away:
They had asked me to come in and read and test for it. But they had no script. I won't do a movie where there is no script. I am not going to get locked in. And they wanted full frontal nudity. There were some things about it that were not for me.
Damn your morals, Scott, damn them right to hell.
Were you afraid of how dad Clint Eastwood would react?
50 Shades has gone on to gross $580.2 million worldwide, and salaries will probably increase for the next sequels. We wonder if Scott is regretting not doing that full frontal. We're sure sad about it.
He appears next month in the romance-drama The Longest Ride, based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks.
So Fifty Shades is a no-go but a saccharine Nicholas Sparks tale gets the thumbs up? Scott, your instincts are questionable.
