Destiny's Child Reunites For Michelle Williams's "Say Yes"

Say what you want about Beyoncé -- as long as it's out of earshot of the Beygency -- but Yoncé is a ride or die Bey. In between her phenomenally successful world tour, her upcoming world tour with husband Jay Z, generally shutting the game down and bringing about the end of the world as we know it, Queen Bey decided to show up for a hot second and lend her sister from another Destiny's mister a hand.

Michelle Williams -- the third wheel in the bicycle made for two that is Destiny's Child -- is still plugging away at her solo career and for "Say Yes", the first single from her new album, Journey to Freedom, she is joined by her former girl group bandmates Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. Bey even got some '90s New Jill Swing braids for the accompanying video (that's a still from it, above), which will also feature featherweight prizefighter Solange.

Of course, the last time DC reunited was at last year's Super Bowl, during which Bey summoned them from the depths of the stage/irrelevance only to unceremoniously dismiss them once she had fulfilled whatever deal she made with the devil for all the blessings and lacefronts in her life.

No T, no shade, but Michelle's career piqued on the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race, featuring Akashia lip-synching the hell out of Williams's "Break the Dawn" while Tammie Brown shuffled about like she was the opening act for a racist team of Vaudevillian comedians:

But, hey, I'll always take any excuse to see my girls back together and harmonizing the way God Tina Knowles intended. Check out Michelle Williams, featuring Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, on the new track, "Say Yes":
