Dida Ritz Recaps "RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4: RuVealed," Episode 4

"I remember telling myself 'If Max [Mutchnik] believes in you, then start believing in your own talent.'"

We asked Dida Ritz to recap tonight’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 RuVealed.

Rewatching my season was like watching a baby's first steps. Given the fact I was still kinda new to drag, I enjoy it every time—it's like watching a old home movie.

There's something about Season 4 that no other seasons had. I feel it's authentic and tells real situations that go on in our community—from Jiggly dealing with her mother's loss, to my own family issues. And even what happens when two queens meet from different worlds collide (Party City!).

The "Queens Behind Bars" episode I fell in love with for two reasons: First because it was good to be in an acting challenge—acting is like therapy for me. Second, the fact I got to be in a room with Max Mutchnick, the co-creator of Will and Grace. He had such nice things to say about me and how talented I am.

I remember telling myself "If Max believes in you then start believing in your own talent."

And watching the episode made me remember what Sharon looked like "before she won" LOL. She made fun of a lot of glamour pageant girls, but now look at her— She's more stunning then ever. I believe Chris rock said it best: "Money is the best lotion."

With all that, I just have one thing to say: Lotion up, girls! I hope you all enjoy this week of RuVealed, "Queens Behind Bars"
