Mouseketeers Debut Uplifting Music Video For National Bullying Month

Disney's "Club Mickey Mouse" knows you'll "Be OK."

In honor of National Bullying Prevention Month, Disney’s Club Mickey Mouse has released an inspirational new song and video about the comforting power of friendship.

“Be OK” offers a message of hope to kids who may be going through tough times. "When you’re running low on luck and you feel caught in a rut," the new Mouseketeers sing, "we’ve got your back to lift you up."

“They always told me life wasn’t easy,” Regan Aliyah raps. “I thought that maybe if I grew up one day that everything would be such a breeze, but simple doesn’t always mean ease.”

Disney unveiled their big Mickey Mouse Club makeover last month, updating the classic series as Club Mickey Mouse with a digital focus and a new class of fresh-faced teens.

Could one of them be the next Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake?

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Research indicates anti-LGBT bullying is at an all-time high. To help stop the harassment of LGBT students, donate or find resources, visit GLAADthe Trevor ProjectGLSEN, and StompOutBullying.org.
