Gay Couples Smooch On Kiss Cam At Dodgers Pride Night

Matt Bomer threw out the first pitch.

The L.A. Dodgers hosted their 5th annual Pride night Friday night, with out actor Matt Bomer throwing the ceremonial first pitch.

While the evening demonstrated solidarity in a number of ways, one of the most entertaining was the Kiss Cam, which captured kisses between several same-sex couples.

The team also handed out special Pride T-shirts at Dodgers Stadium and honored LGBT athletes, sports executives and members of the United States Armed Forces.

Glee star Dot Marie Jones performed the National Anthem, accompanied by the Gay Men’s Chorus and Trans Chorus of Los Angeles. Other guests include #ResistMarch founder Brian Pendleton, MLB inclusivity officer Billy Bean, The Real O’Neals' Noah Galvin, Scandal actor Guillermo Diaz, and Prop. 8 plantiffs Paul Katami and Jeff Zarrillo.

Dodgers marketing VP Erik Braverman, who came out publicly in 2015, oversees the LGBT-themed night, which, this year, served as an official kickoff party for L.A. Pride. "The Dodgers, with a proud history of diversity, recognize the value of an inclusive environment," said Chief Marketing officer Lon Rosen in a statement.
