Dolce And Gabbana Don't Want Gay People To Have Children: "Semen Chosen From A Catalog"

Famed gay fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana don't think gay people should have children.

Scratch that—they don't think anyone should have children, unless its the "traditional" way.

In an interview with Italy's Panorama magazine, the billionaire couturiers said, "the only family is the traditional one. No chemical offsprings and rented uterus."

They added, "life has a natural flow, and there are things that should not be changed."

In the piece, Gabbana called babies born through insemination "synthetic children" created from "semen chosen from a catalog." "The family is not a fad," he told Panorama. "In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging."

It's not the first time they've spoken out against their own community: Both oppose marriage equality and Gabbana said in a 2006 interview that same-sex couples shouldn't raise children.

This time, he added that procreation "must be an act of love."

Dolce & Gabbana - Runway RTW - Fall 2015 - Milan Fashion Week

D&G must have procreation on the brain: Their runway show last month at Milan Fashion Week was devoted to mommies, with needlepoint phrases like "I love you, mamma" stitched on skirts and models walking with their (presumably biological) children.

The former boyfriends/current business partners also debuted a pair of fur headphones, yours for just $5,000.

Dolce and Gabbana were found guilty of major tax evasion in 2013. They're still technically facing prison time and $440 million in fines. So maybe they just need the money?

In response to these latest comments, LGBT News Italia has launched a campaign to boycott the D&G brand, using  #BoycottDolceGabbana.
