Donald Trump is not someone we generally see eye to eye with, but it seems that pigs are flying as Mr. Trump stopped by Fox & Friends this morning and gave host Gretchen Carlson a piece of his mind. As he is always so good at.

When Ms. Carlson brought up the rumor that President Obama would possibly appoint Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour as ambassador to England or France and called it a "favor," Trump was having none of it.

“I don’t view it as a favor,” he said. “I think this is a favor to the country. She’s a very capable person, a very good friend of my wife Melania and mine, but a very, very fine person and she’s tough and she’s smart and she gets it.”

“She would do things that nobody else could do in this position,” he went on to say.

We, of course, could not agree more, and find it insulting that people think of Wintour as some vapid fashionista playing around at a magazine.

She runs the fashion industry people. All of it.

And so we must say, for the first and possibly last time, Mr. Trump is right.
