The ladies of Downton Abbey look fine and all in their period garb, but put these gals on a red carpet and they show up looking something fierce. Michelle Dockery of course still looks just as gorgeous as when she plays Lady Mary, but the big surprises are how gorgeous Joanne Froggatt (Anna) and Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith) are when they get out of their girdles. We still think you're a bitch however Edith.

So take a look at these ladies along with Jessica Brown Findlay (Lady Sybil) and Sophie McShera (Edith) in the gallery above. This may just be the most attractive cast on television, next to RuPaul's Drag Race of course.

And, just to be clear, not one of these ladies looks half as sexy as Dame Maggie Smith.
