Could A "Downton Abbey" Movie Be On The Way?

"It may not be over yet.”

Downton Abbey ended its six year run on PBS this year, but fans aren't ready to say goodbye to Dowager Countess and crew yet—including the actors themselves.

Michelle Dockery, who played cool Lady Mary on the hit historical series is currently in New Mexico, filming Godless, a new Netflix mini-series but she sat down with The Telegraph to talk about her career and the possibility of more Downton.

“The thing that I miss the most are my cast members,” said Dockery in the interview. “But we are all still very close. I think there is potential for a film. That is something I would wholeheartedly consider, so we will see. It may not be over yet.”

In addition to Godless she is also starring in a new TNT series, Good Behavior.

"I was very fortunate to go from Downton Abbey on to this quite quickly," she told PEOPLE about her new series. "I like to keep working. I was very lucky to find something that was quite different."

So if Dockery's schedule opens up in the near future could we expect a return to Downton?
