Drag Queens Take Us Inside Their Daily Lives In New Docu-Series “Shade: Queens Of NYC”

Drag queens are giving us a peek into their personal lives in Fusion TV’s new docu-series Shade: Queens of NYC.

The 12-part, half-hour show will take an intimate look at the day-to-day lives of some of the hardest working members of New York’s drag community, including Brita Filter, Chelsea Piers, Holly Box-Springs, Jada Valenciaga, Jasmine Rice LaBeija, Marti Gould Cummings, “Showbiz Spitfire” Paige Turner and Tina Burner.

In addition to exploring the daily struggles, stigmas and sacrifices of the entertainers, Fusion promises that each episode will contain a massive musical number performed by the featured drag queens.
