Last night’s true winner? Morgan McMichaels, who miraculously made showcasing a sewing machine and some free fabric look amusing.
“Moms on the Verge” was the theme for last night’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag U. Bedraggled and worn out mothers Angela, Janet and April rolled up with their carry-on suitcases and their tattered sweatpants, and before you can say “Your mother rides a vacuum cleaner” these ladies were getting their eyebrows painted, their torsos wrapped in Saran Wrap and wigs were getting flipped left and right.
This week also featured a truly standout performance by Morgan McMichaels, reliably sparkly turns from Shannel and Pandora Boxx, and a very welcome appearance by guest judge Debi Mazar. Oh, yes and Fantasia even got some airtime. Life’s good right?
