"Duck Dynasty" Live Show Canceled Due To Poor Ticket Sales

The hits keep coming for the Duck Dynasty gang: A live show based on the illogically popular A&E show has been canceled due to low sales.

Phil Robertson, the Duck Dynasty patriarch who opined that homosexuality was par with bestiality, was to feature heavily in the event, set for April 26 at the JQH Arena in Springfield, Missouri.

JTK Productions issued a statement this week, however, pulling the plug—because of “unforeseen circumstances.”

Not unforeseen to everyone: Keith Boaz, director of JQH Arena, confirmed to the Springfield News-Leader that poor ticket sales were the culprit.

While interest in the Robertson scandal meant the show set a ratings high when it debuted its new season, the season finale saw a 30% drop in the ratings.  The show has yet to be renewed for another season.

Maybe y'all should just go back to selling duck calls?
