Dwayne Johnson Books "Jungle Cruise," A Great Big World's "Hold Each Other" Is Pronoun Perfect, Milwaukee Brewers Support Out Minor Leaguer: MEME

"The Martian" shows drama and humor in new trailer, you're not the only one calling Joseph Gordon-Levitt daddy, Muppets sing N.W.A.

Now there's someone in the world besides Morgan calling Joseph Gordon-Levitt "daddy," as he's welcomed a baby boy into his life with his robotics engineer wife Tasha McCauley.

Romania's former King Michael has stripped his only grandson Prince Nicholas of his titles for failing to live a life that is “modest, well-balanced and with moral principles." While Prince Nicholas hasn't expressed his sexuality, the popular Prince is believed to have come out to his family as gay, prompting the move. Nicholas has reportedly left the country, releasing a statement saying “The royal life means leading my life in a way I find hard to accept. For this reason, I accept with a lot of pain in my heart the decision of His Majesty King Michael for me.”

The Milwaukee Brewers have stepped up and expressed their support of David Denson, their minor league player who came out this week. Manager Craig Counsell says "We actually have the same agent, from when I was a player. I always looked out for him a little bit when I went to see him and had conversations with him. I'm happy for him, more than anything. He says it wasn't a courageous thing to do. It was a courageous thing to do, and we applaud that. ... It's not easy trying to become a major league baseball player, and I'm sure it hasn't been easy dealing with everything he has had to deal with up to this point. Hopefully, this kind of gets something out of the way that allows all of his talents to shine through."

Ryan Braun, the team's biggest star says "Overall, we realize it's a courageous decision by him, to come out and embrace his true self. I've never met him, but I hope baseball as a whole is at a point where we judge people by their ability and not their race, religion, ethnicity or sexuality. I can't speak for everybody on our team, but he would be accepted and supported by me. And I would hope all of my teammates feel the same way."

U.S. District Judge David Bunning has updated his order denying a stay of his ruling that Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis must begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Basically, the update says that if the Sixth Circuit doesn't act by August 31, his ruling that she must issue licenses becomes effective.

Dwayne Johnson has signed on to star in a movie version of the Disney ride "Jungle Cruise." Originally conceived with Tom Hanks in the modern day, this is expected to be a period piece. It's a bit odd, as the ride has recently come under fire from third graders for being racist.

I know we're supposed to be protecting the rain forest, but I'm afraid we're going to have to burn it to the ground, because biologists have discovered a new spider that can skydive from the treetops to hunt. We really have no choice but to nuke it from space.

The hoaxer that raised $43,000 after posting a letter she said was left on her fence calling her yard "relentlessly gay" has returned all the money. People became suspicious when there were similar capitalization mistakes between her Facebook and the note. She says “If a time machine were available, it would have all ended at the original requested amount. It was never about the money but being happy in the face of intolerance.”

Pinknews annoyed 300 guys on Grindr to ask them just how gay they were, in light of the survey that found less than half of UK youth identified as Kinsey 0. On their entirely unscientific interruption of guys trying to get laid, they discovered that the most common rating was a 5, with the actual average being 4.8. They did get some funny, and some typical responses.

A new study by Public Health England found that vaping was 95% safer than smoking. While this isn't to be used as an excuse to go out and start up, it's the first major governmental study to come down on the side of healthier. In fact, they want NHS to start prescribing e-cigarettes to help people stop smoking. "E-cigarettes could be a game changer in public health, in particular by reducing the enormous health inequalities caused by smoking."

A new polls shows that Donald Trump isn't just smoking the rest of the Republican field, he's actually closed his gap in a faceoff with Hilary Clinton to just six points.

Meanwhile, the Republican Party has adopted a resolution supporting the passage of the First Amendment Defense Act, which allows for widespread discrimination against LGBT people.

Buzzfeed surveyed their readers about their penises. Of the 150,000 people who responded, 66% put their dongs at average of 4-6" and about the same number say they're growers and not showers. A lot of these guys were obviously straight, because 49% say they'd rather show their junk in person rather than send a dick pic, and 40% say they've never tasted their own honey. And as for how high that honey splatters, 27% say it hits their chest, while 24% say it's more of an ooze. I wonder if we ran a similar poll, with a primarily gay readership, if our answers would be the same overall?

Liam Payne is being accused of homophobia again, but I think it's more of a straight privilege thing. When introducing a song at a concert, he said “This is my favourite song off the last album, and it is about trying to find that number one woman of your life… which none of you can relate to, because most of you are girls. Except for the boys in here, you know what I’m talking about.”

I don't think that's homophobic, but just a guy who lives in a world where he doesn't think about anyone that's not like himself. But I also understand the reaction, because Payne does things like hang out with the Duck Dynasty crew during the peak of their scandal.

As for his reaction, well, he's sorry if he offended, but...“lol think some people take things to literal these days not gunna comment on it anymore you guys know what I meant it was meant in general… I am in no way shape or form homophobic that’s a ridicules [sic] thing to say and I’m not here to offend people so take it as you will. So annoying trying your hardest to make people happy in a show and you think about all the notes u tried to hit higher or a little sweeter… And all some people want to concentrate on was a throw away statement about a song that I love. I’m sorry to those I offended really I am but there’s no need for some of the things I’m being called.”

Hell & Back is something unique from the U.S. - it's an R-rated stop-motion cartoon. Normally prohibitively expensive to make considering the small audience, this comes to us from ShadowMachine, the folks behind Robot Chicken. The basic principle is that a group of friends find a way to travel to hell to save their friend, who got transported there accidentally after playing around with an occult book. Along the way, they discover hell isn't so bad. I have to warn you, this is very NSFW.

Because it was inevitable, I present M.W.A., with Kermit and Fozzy doing N.W.A.'s "Express Yourself." As with all of these it works really well, likely because Muppet mouths are so nonspecific when they move. My only surprise is that Disney didn't do this themselves to market the new TV show.

A Great Big World, made up of Ian Axel, who is straight, and the out Chad King, have a new lyric video for "Hold Each Other" featuring Futuristic. Each has their own verse, and the pronouns match their lives, which was fairly daunting, especially since they weren't out to make a political statement. King says it did make him nervous. “I had a moment of doubt, because you don’t hear that in pop music. It was a little uncomfortable for me, even as someone who is gay, because you’re just not used to hearing that in a pop song.”

The latest trailer for The Martian, with Matt Damon as an astronaut left behind on a mission to Mars, shows a bit more of the plot beyond the "science the shit outta this" that the first trailer showed. You understand how he ended up alone, and what his challenges are, and a bit of how people in power make decisions. It really looks like it's going to pack a punch both comedically and with the drama.
