This Athlete’s Big “Hockey Butt” in Pants Ad Will Melt Your Heart
Like big butts and cannot lie?
A professional ice hockey player is going viral this week thanks to his cheeky new ad for State & Liberty, an Ann Arbor clothing company that aims to "shed light on a topic a lot of people are not comfortable talking about."
"My name is Dylan Larkin and I have a hockey butt," admits the 23-year-old forward for NHL's Detroit Red Wings. "I know a big problem that a lot of athletes and hockey players have is shopping for pants. We have relatively small waists, and big quads, big thighs, and big butt." Hey, is this a pants ad or a Grindr profile?
"I can't really find an off-the-rack pant to fit me," he says. "Even when I get a pair of pants custom-made, I can't move around and stretch in them. Every time I bend down, I feel like I'm going to bust through the seams."
Luckily, Larkin discovered State & Liberty, which sells the only trousers that can contain his thicc assets, and rest assured we get to see some successful stretching and squatting.
Sure, Larkin may have a serious case of "hockey butt," but he's the only one suffering. Just check out the thirst tweets below.
