Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are the best of best friends, but not the kind of best friends who go to gay strip clubs together.

The pair revealed as much in a joint interview with Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw after the Brit Awards last week, when they told a story about that one time Ed Sheeran treated Taylor's touring backup dancers to a night of kicks at the gay Atlanta strip club Swinging Richards.

"He even paid for the dancer — whose birthday it was — to have a private session!" Now magazine exclaims.

Taylor confirmed the event and the fact that she was left out, saying "He just didn't invite me and then he told me the next day. I was sadsies!"

Taylor, who also claims she stays at Ed's mother's house when she's in town, also recalled a time she helped Ed hide from the police in Mark Ronson's hotel bathroom. "We had to hide in a bathroom," she said. "I grabbed Ed and was like, 'Cops are here, come with me!' Who wouldn't thought I'd be the one who knew how to get away from the police?"

Don't ever change, Taylor.
