Edna Mode Star Of First Ad Campaign For “Incredibles 2”

"It's been too long, dahling."

A familiar face popped up last week during New York Fashion Week: No, not Naomi or Cindy—it was The Incredibles’ breakout star, Edna Mode, who appeared on bus and subway posters in Manhattan just in time for the fashion industry to descend on the city.

Mode, based on iconic Hollywood designer Edith Head, once remarked models were just “spoiled, stupid little stick figures with poofy lips who think only about themselves.” But the Disney-Pixar social media accounts were touting the fashion doyenne’s appearance, writing “If you thought she’d miss #NYFW, you thought wrong, dahling,”

There’s even a move afoot to get her as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. We just hope the queens would be smart enough not to wear capes.
