Ellen Celebrates Pride With Her Show's Top LGBTQ Moments

A look back at interviews with Laverne Cox, Barack Obama, Sam Smith, Asia Kate Dillon, and more.

Ellen recently celebrated Pride month by revealing some of her favorite LGBTQ moments from The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The show will have its 15 year anniversary in a few months, and it has been full of proud moments during that long run.

The compilation video features such highlights as an appearance by Laverne Cox shortly after she was the first transgender person ever featured on the cover of Time, President Obama saying working for LGBTQ rights was "one of the things I'm most proud of," and Asia Kate Dillon talking about playing the first gender non-binary main character in a U.S. television show.

Viewers are also treated to a throwback to Ellen talking about her intimate wedding with wife Portia de Rossi, whom she married in 2008.
