Ellie Goulding shocked fans when out of nowhere she released the new single "Burn" just days ago, seemingly out of nowhere, and now it seems pretty clear what the British singer was after -- girl wants to get in on this Song of Summer action.

And girl came prepared with a pretty perfect song.

The catchy and infectious new tune, produced by Ryan Tedder, has Ellie doing her best version of pop princess, and seems destined to shoot up the charts, just like the singer's debut single, "Lights," as this jam is very, very radio friendly. Assuming people still listen to the radio.

And now the song also has a video, a whole three days after its release, that shows Ellie playing in giant fields, walking up deserted roads and eventually ending up at some dance party being held on the tarmac of an abandoned airport. It's like a super chill Burning Man!
