Hosting last night’s Saturday Night Live, Oscar winner Emma Stone returned to La La Land as Grace, a struggling actor meeting her greatest challenge, in the digital short "The Actress."

“I play the woman who gets cheated on in the gay porn,” she says, introducing herself to the sleazy director (Beck Bennett) before slipping on a puddle of lube.

"There’s nothing to her," he tells Grace. "People are just going to scroll past you so they can get off. She has no past, no future. She exists only to be cheated on."

But using costume and prop clues found in “the woman bin,” Grace tries to dig deeper, create the rich backstory of a wife betrayed, and earn her meal voucher. "Who are you, Deirdre?" she ponders. "That’s the name I gave her." When she finally unlocks her character, can she leave Deirdre behind?
