Emma Thompson is an award-winning actress and national treasure on both sides of the pond. In her latest film, Late Night, Thompson plays Katherine Newbury, a tough talk show host who finds unexpected inspiration and friendship with a new writer on her team, played by Mindy Kaling.

During an interview with NewNowNext, Thompson and Kaling talked about whether Katherine would have any gay besties in her life, their Pride parade memories, and if Thompson had ever seen a drag queen version of herself.

"What would it look like?" the Sense and Sensibility star asks about her potential drag queen twin, with Nanny McPhee being suggested as a potential look.

"Well, now you're talking! The stick could be a microphone! Who knows where that woman has walked," she responds, describing the title character from the 2005 movie she also wrote.
