Now Laura can stop crying!
Enlightened, one of the best new shows of the fall, has just been renewed by HBO for a second season. Positive thinking, it works folks.
The show no doubt received a huge boost from its two Golden Globe nominations last week, one for star Laura Dern and another for Best Comedy. Sadly, it did not score a nom for the amazing Diane Ladd, Dern’s real life mother who plays her, wait for it, mother in the series. Her recent episode dealing with the death of her husband was one of the best of 2011.
So for those of you with no real plans over the next two weeks, start catching up on this show, you will not be sorry.
