Eric Trump thinks he’s being targeted by the so-called deep state, including former President Obama and Ellen Degeneres.
The president’s son shared a screenshot on Tuesday of Twitter’s suggestions for users he should follow, including Obama, DeGeneres and Hillary Clinton.

“Shocking,” Trump tweeted. “Once again, here are the Twitter ’suggestions’ of who I should follow. #DeepState.”
The “deep state” conspiracy theory, which is often pushed by the president and his followers, refers to an alleged civil-service group that works in the shadows to delegitimize the Trump administration.
As is custom at this point, Twitter began to mock Eric’s tweet immediately.
This is the most unintentionally hilarious tweet of the very very new year!

Not proud to admit this, but I would pay $20 to sit with Eric Trump for ten minutes and have him explain Ellen DeGeneres' shadowy role in the Deep State.

Hi Eric, I know you’re not the smart one, but Twitter’s algorithm looks at who you searched for most recently when making suggestions. It looks like you might have recently searched for a Democrat, buddy.

Yes. Ellen. You got her.
It’s over, everyone! Eric caught us. https://t.co/iZVlAqPcE1

Hey numb nuts. It’s derived from who you follow.

Eric, there is no Deep State, but your dad says the Deep State comprises non-presidentially appointed civil servants who serve in multiple administrations. Obama and Clinton, by definition, cannot be members of the Deep State. As for Ellen, are you daft?
