ESPN’s Curt Schilling Posts Obscene Attack On Trans People: “A Man Is A Man”

"You’re a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to DIE!!!"

ESPN commentator and former MLB player Curt Schilling is receiving backlash this week over a transphobic photo he posted to Facebook.

Although it’s since been deleted, the original photo read, “LET HIM IN! To the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to DIE!!!”

He later posted a comment on Facebook to assure those that were offended that these were his real views.

ESPN has been very supportive of the LGBT community, and even one of the network’s MLB editors, Christina Kahrl, is a trans woman, so it will be interesting to see how they respond to Schilling’s nasty words.

Schilling claimed he didn’t create the post, but did take the time to write a scathing note to all of us who are “just dying to be offended so you can create some sort of faux cause to rally behind.”

You can read his response here. Spoiler alert: It won’t make you like him more.
