Most people have heard of Eugene Lee Yang as one of the BuzzFeed "Try Guys", where he appears as one of four young men attempting various things like dressing in drag, roller derby, and nude modeling. However, the Pflugerville, Texas native is also a video producer, writer, and director who isn't afraid to take on important social topics like body image, mass shootings, and racism.

Where does Yang hope to see the LGBTQ community in 50 years?

"If there's like a percentage more LGBTQ people who are content, and open, and free to love who they choose, and be who they are, then we've won something, right?" Yang tells NewNowNext. "Then we've done something in our lifetime that made positive change."
