For more than 60 years, Europe has been home to the boldest and campiest music competition in the world: The Eurovision Song Contest.
Ahead of this year’s musical battle royale, Eurovision is providing a sneak peek at the 42 fierce competitors vying for the top honors.
Eurovision 2017 will be held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kiev, Ukraine following the country’s victory at the 2016 contest in Stockholm.
This year, the 42 songs will center on the theme “Celebrate Diversity.” Based on the below preview, the entries will offer an eclectic mix of power ballads and bubblegum pop, with plenty of opportunities for elaborate costumes and jaw-dropping choreography.
Eurovision 2017 is expected to consist of two semi-finals on May 9 and 11 with the grand finale on May 13.
