We’re so close to finding out who this year’s winner will be on American Idol. And while we’ll be super-excited for either Candice Glover or Kree Harrison, whoever ends up going home should take lesson from last year’s runner-up, Jessica Sanchez: The tiny teen is proof you don’t need to be declared winner to be a contender.
While most of us were stressing over calculus homework, 17-year-old Jessica has competed on Idol, landed a recurring guest role on Glee and just released her new album, Me, You and The Music. Oh and let’s not forget about the lead single, “Tonight,” featuring Ne-Yo. (The video, below, proves that not only can Jessica sing and dance, but the girl knows how to dress.)
Above, Jessica talks about performing “Tonight” on Idol this season and fighting for LGBT rights. As if we couldn’t love her anymore.
