We caught up with Miss Patricia Field, the Queen of… well… everything, at her brand spankin’ new store here in New York City for a tour, some ki ki, and to find out exactly what dressing from the House of Field means.
The House of Field recently relocated a few doors up the street from their old location to… wait for it… PAT’S OLD HOUSE. It’s literally… The HOUSE of Field now. The new two-floor retail space, spans from Bowery to Elizabeth Street and features a large and in charge new section of men’s wear, with a downstairs solely dedicated to accessories. Another hidden gem in the House is the Patricia Field Salon which is actually located in Pat’s old bedroom. So after you’re done shopping, you can kick it in one of the most well known women in New York’s old bedroom, while you get your mermaid locks on.
The space itself is reason enough to pop by 306 Bowery from the custom sculptures to the skylights and the glitter brick waterfalls. But if that’s not enough, Pat has glam squad of highly knowledgeable stylists on hand at all times to assist you with your look.
If you’re in or around New York, I highly recommend stopping by the shop, but if you’re not there’s plenty of goodies available online. A couple of my favs from the men’s section on the site right now are:
The VOGUE/TRADE Men’s Mesh Jersey – Perfect alone or layered over a button down or tank top – this throwback to the days of the Vogue Ball is the perfect late summer addition to your wardrobe.
Unisex Cutout Skull Tank Top – Business in the front and drop dead party in the back, this look is sure to turn some heads. Choose from gray, black, or white.
And last but not least, the Bad Boy Backpack is the perfect back to school accessory, whether you’re actually going back to class or just schoolin’ life.
