TheBacklot has its Annual Ultimate Slash Madness, meanwhile our cousins over at mtvU have their own Fandom Awards where they've pitted 32 Films, TV Dramas, TV Comedies and Animated series in a bracket style tournament. Which film or series has the strongest fanbase? Can Hunger Games or Veronica Mars fans beat out Teen Wolf or Supernatural supporters? (Based on our own experience with last year's Slash Madness, we think it's going to come down to the latter two.)

First round voting is still open, so you can weigh in on which of 32 fan communities should advance to the Super 16.  The ultimate winner will be revealed during the Fandom Awards held at Comic-Con later this month and then broadcast via the mtvU Fandom Awards on Sunday, July 27 at 8/7c on MTV!
