"Finding Prince Charming": Dillon's Farewell Interview

"Honestly, I don’t think Robert had a connection with me."

Even though Dillon decided to step aside on this week's finale of Finding Prince Charming, he still had a lot to say about his time on the show.

Find out what he thought about his spat with Sam, if he got any closure with Robert and if he really thought he was the "villain" of the series on this week's installment of #Untied.

You were on for the entire season, what was life like in the house?

Every day was a different experience—some days would be a lot of fun, some days there would be a lot of stress. You just never knew what to expect but, all in all, it was a new experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

What was going through your mind the night Sam spit on you?

The crazy thing is is that I don’t know how Sam got to point to think that I would actually waste my experience in the house to talk about him. He wasn’t really my focus. My focus was Robert. Sam and I didn’t have a conflict at all. So, for me, it came out of nowhere.

Have you spoken to Sam since the show?

No I have not. He has yet to give me an apology. I mean he has apologized on camera, but that’s about it. He has not tried to reach out to me or say anything to me about the situation.

Have you kept in touch with any other other guys from the house?

Yeah, I’ve actually been the one bringing everyone together! Even though I said I "wasn’t there to make friends," after the show, I was totally open to making friends.

What about Robert—did you guys get any closure?

No, honestly I don’t think Robert had a connection with me. He definitely didn’t have any attraction to me for a relationship. Physically, it was probably a different story.

Did you realize that going into the final black-tie ceremony?

I think I was aware of it after the winery date. I saw that Robert was starting to pull away from me. I was trying to see if there was any kind of connection and he would start to show me that there was something so I would get my hopes up and then he would do something to bring it back down.

So you feel you made the right decision by choosing to leave the show?

I think I made the best decision. Robert was smitten with Eric from the beginning—most of the guys in the house knew that.

What's life been like since the show premiered?

It’s actually been hell for me because I was made to look like I was the villain. What people don’t see is that Dillon was the one helping everyone get dressed everyday. Dillon was the one motivating everyone for their dates everyday. They look at me as this negative person and the villain. What they don’t get to see Dillon being the genuine nice person.

Would you do the show again?

If the circumstances were different, probably… Maybe so you could get to see the real Dillon.

Watch the Finding Prince Charming reunion Thursday, November 10 at 9/8c on Logo.
