First-Ever Gay Jewish Tour Planned For Auschwitz And Eastern Europe

Running August 8-16, the trip commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Auschwitz liberation, and will also hit Krakow, Warsaw, Prague and other sites of significance in the region, once the heart of the European Jewish community.

Tourgoers will celebrate Prague Pride and explore the city's Jewish quarter, visit locations associated with Oscar Schindler's famous "list," and participate in a private memorial service for the thousands of LGBT victims of the camps.

“It was important for me to show the celebration of life that has been created since that time devastating time in history,”said Hebro founder Jayson Littman. “Ending the trip in Prague for Pride, which just began there in 2011, will offer our participants a chance to see how in 70 years, two identities that were persecuted can now celebrate openly in an area where that once was impossible.”

Littman is also organizing trips to Fort Lauderdale (April 24-26) and to Israel for Tel Aviv Pride trip (June 5-14).
