"The Flash" Extended Trailer Reveals Getting Hit By Lightning Gives You Abs: WATCH
The CW debuted a teaser clip of its upcoming new superhero series, The Flash, during its current superhero series, Arrow, last night and today we get a 5-minute preview of what's in store this fall. The show will star Grant Gustin, perhaps best known for playing evil gay Sebastian Smythe on Glee, as CSI Investigator Barry Allen who, after getting hit by lightning, finds that A.) he has abs, and B.) he can run super fast.
Of course, anyone familiar with the original Flash series, starring 90s hunk turned Dawson's dad turned openly gay daddy John Wesley Shipp knows that getting hit by lightning does wonders for the physique.
Even without the weird (and kinda hot) muscle suit.
Speaking of Shipp, he'll cameo on the pilot episode of The Flash as a "mysterious character." Meanwhile, Gustin's abs will join Stephen Amell's and Colton Haynes's abs on The CW's increasingly ripped lineup this fall on Tuesdays. Check out the preview below:
