Grindr Thieves Stole And Threatened To Kill Their Victim's Dog

Poor Coco.

A Florida man was robbed last Saturday after going to the residence of a man he met on Grindr, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Once inside the apartment, two additional men with masks entered the room. The victim was then robbed while being threatened with a gun, knife, and metal pipe.

After forcing the victim to drive them to his home, the robbers stole additional items, including the victim’s dog, a Yorkie named Coco. The three men told the victim that they would kill him and his dog if he reported the incident to police.

After posting about his ordeal on Facebook, the unnamed victim was contacted by another man who had also been lured on Grindr by his assailants and robbed at the same Boynton Beach location.

“The other male stated that he also did not report the incident because he was scared; however, the two together felt like they needed to do something or others would fall victim,” wrote a Boynton officer in his report.

Vadol Marquise Reed, 22; Rundy Robertson, 19; and Devin Bowie, 20 now face charges of armed robbery and false imprisonment, which are punishable by life in prison. Police believe that the three men may have previously committed the same crime.

Rest assured that Coco has been returned safely to his owner.
