Now it looks like Marucci, who went by the stage name "Noel," will be allowed back in school following protests from classmates. A Reddit user whose post about the situation went viral, said the teen also suffered bullying by classmates when his extra-curricular activity became public knowledge.

Marucci says he turned to porn "to help my mother out economically." His mom,  Melyssa Lieb, insists administrators told her "that my son was expelled—not just suspended—due to his explicit adult-lifestyle career."

"No child would ever be suspended for a job that they have outside of the school environment," said a school-district spokesperson. "In this particular case, we had an investigation, which is now complete, and the student is welcomed to come back to talk... about his educational options."

Let's hope they award him some work-study credit.
