“Greater Fort Lauderdale has been a pioneer and leader in welcoming the LGBT+ community to the destination for 25 years,” said Richard Gray, vice president, LGBT+ market, of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. “We took early leadership commissioning a landmark transgender study to better understand the needs of this community as an important and often ignored visitor market. As one of the most progressive destination’s in the country, it was a natural evolution to incorporate a Transgender Pride into the festivities.”
