Four Things We Hope To See At Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas Residency

Unfortunately, we will have to wait a year to find out.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Lady Gaga would kick off a Las Vegas residency in December 2018 at the MGM Park Theater. According to sources, the megastar has signed on for 74 performances over a two-year engagement, with the option to extend.

As we wait for tickets to go on sale, we came up with four moments that have made us gaga for Gaga that we hope will be included in her show:

  1. 1. An egg-cellent arrival

We loved the pop star’s epic 2011 Grammy Awards red carpet arrival in a gigantic, transparent egg, which is also how she appeared onstage to perform her queer anthem, “Born This Way.”

  2. 2. Lady Gaga flying high (sort of)

Of course, Lady Gaga is no stranger to outrageous fashion choices—meat dress, anyone?—but one of our favorite out-of-this-world ensembles came in the form of this flying dress that she donned for the launch of her album, ARTPOP, in 2013. The high-flying fashion piece featured six rotors and lifted the singer a few feet above the ground.

  3. 3. A-list duets

Lady Gaga has teamed up with some amazing performers in the past: Tony Bennett, Elton John, Florence Welch, among others. We know it’s a lot to hope for, but maybe some of her famous friends will join her on stage.

  4. 4. Smoking hot dancers

We want more of this. A lot more of this.
