Fox News' Shepard Smith Is Gay, Should Come Out, Says Right-Wing Analyst

Shepard Smith is gay, and it's about time the Fox News personality came out, claims one conservative media analyst.

Cliff Kincaid, head of Accuracy in Media, is demanding Smith come out of the closet and publicly admit he's gay. Above, in the weirdest PowerPoint presentation we've ever seen, Kincaid recounts how Out and the Advocate both ranked Smith in their list of "top homosexuals in the mainstream media."

Shepard-Smith-665x385As his biggest smoking gun, Kincaid points out Smith, host of both The Fox Report and Studio B with Shepard Smith, never refuted the magazines' claims:

Now I don't know about you, but if I was listed as one of the most powerful homosexuals in the media [...] I would probably sue for defamation and collect a lot of money. Shepard Smith, according to my information, as never asked that be taken down.

It's true Smith, 49, has never commented one way or the other about making Out's Power 100—or about his sexuality at all. And both Jodie Foster and Anderson Cooper made the cut before they came out. Barry Diller and Apple honcho Tim Cook are on it, too, for what it's worth.

Of course it's not the first time the Right has eaten its gay: Last fall, when Fox said President Obama was standing on the "right side of the 21st century" by supporting same-sex marriage, Rush Limbaugh had a  friggin' cow: "Shep, where has the issue won? Where has the issue been victorious, Shep, outside your house?"

Kincaid, who also runs America's Survival, Inc., published a 40,000-word report revealing how Fox News is undergoing "radical changes" and "has become pro-homosexual propaganda.”

Wow, how far right do you have to be to think Fox News needs to be banned in Russia?
