Frank Ocean Finally Announces New Album... And New Publication?!
It's been nearly three years since Frank Ocean dropped his masterful debut album, Channel Orange.
Fans have waited patiently since Ocean first announced word of a second album over two years ago in February, 2013.
Last November, Frank released what was believed to be the album's first single, "Memrise," on his official Tumblr page.
And now Ocean took to ye old familiar Tumblr to finally–finally–announce his sophomore album, Boys Don't Cry," and a companion publication.
Last night, Ocean shared the above photo on his website with the caption: “I got two versions. I got twoooo versions.” #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY
A rep for Ocean confirmed to Billboard it is indeed a new album and his own publication that will drop in July. The magazine is titled is Boys Don't Cry while the album title has yet to be revealed.
