NewNowNext headquarters are in the heart of Times Square (seriously, we bump into three Elmos on the way into the office), so when we heard West Hollywood was hosting its third annual Go-Go Dancer Appreciation Day Festival, we had to get one of our West Coast friends to check it out.

YouTube star Frankie J. Grande, brother to Ariana Grande, was kind enough to take on the burden of kiking with scantily clad dancers on the red carpet on Santa Monica Boulevard. He also chatted up  CSI's Gerald McCullouch, Girls Guide to Depravity star Joe Komara and others.

Co-sponsored by Frontier magazine, the Tom of Finland Foundation, Visit West Hollywood, the Pacific Design Center and the bars and clubs of Boystown, the celebration included a competition to see who is the fiercest go-go in the land.

A sweet young thing named Jonny Blunda ended up taking the crown, plus a $1,000 cash prize, a Palm Springs weekend getaway and a Frontiers magazine cover shoot.

To all the runner-ups: If you need a shoulder to cry on, we're just a plane ticket away. (Plane ticket not included.)
