When French Homophobics Stage A Flashmob

We learned two lessons while watching this fascinating video: 1) babies can’t be raised by gay parents because they may turn into birds who cant leave their nests. 2) French homophobics don’t really understand what flashmobs are.

Alliance Vita, an anti-marriage equality group protesting France’s plan to legalize same-sex marriage, apparently staged multiple flash mobs around France this week.

Men dressed in green and women dressed in red and they each performed while facing each other in two different groups. The National Organization for Marriage said the two groups showed that “every child needs a mother and a father.”

The whole metaphor didn’t make sense. The weird guy in the middle is supposed to symbolize a bird, and he leans on the “moms” and “dads” for help on learning how to fly out of the nest.

The moms and dads don’t seem to couple up and work together in any way, so the point is kind of lost.
