We already got a sneak peek at Bryce Howard's fine form, but French Open champion Stan Wawrinka will also be featured in this year's edition of ESPN The Magazine's The Body Issue, hitting newsstands July 10.

"My body is for my tennis, it's for my sport," Wawrinka tells ESPN. "I'm not a model at all. I don't work out to go to the beach, I work out to play well and to do well on the court."

Looking good on the beach is just a fringe benefit, we guess.

But Wawrinka wasn't always comfortable with his body.

"When I was younger, I was a little bit fat," says the 30-year-old Swiss. "I wasn't like big-time fat, I was just overweight—maybe around when I was 13 or 14.  But it wasn't easy to feel that way."

Other athletes featured in the Body Issue, which aims to embrace diverse body types, include the New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham and soccer star Ali Krieger, who helped take the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team to victory during the recent World Cup.
