Watch: Gay "Frozen" Broadway Star Timothy Hughes Rips Trump Flag From Audience Member's Hand

"Not at our show!"

A Donald Trump supporter waved a TRUMP 2020 banner, and did not let it go, so it was ripped from his hands.

That's what happened at the Wednesday, September 5, performance of Frozen on Broadway. The live musical adaptation of the insanely popular animated film has been playing to sold out crowds since it opened earlier this year.

During the curtain call for Wednesday's night performance a Trump supporter stood at the foot of the stage holding a TRUMP 2020 banner, but one of the cast members was not having it.

Timothy Hughes, who plays Pabbie the troll, was standing on stage right behind the banner, and as the cast was thanking the orchestra he ripped the Trump banner out of the audience member's hands and threw it into the wings.

The moment was caught on video and Hughes posted it to his Instagram with the caption:

“What does it say about our country and politics when a man at the show tonight felt the need to protest Disney’s Frozen on Broadway with a pro Trump flag?? How frightening is it that our show’s messages of love, acceptance, and diversity have become the opposition to supporting Trump?”

“The curtain call is a thank you between actors and audience, a final connection to end a shared experience," he continued. "I will not apologize for how I responded to the disrespectful man trying to interrupt this moment with a pathetic political platform. Not at our show! Not in front of my beautiful, diverse, talented cast at @frozenbroadway. I appreciate everyone’s support. #resist #lovewins #lovetrumpshate.”

Todrick Hall also happened to be at the Frozen performance, and posted the video of Hughes throwing the Trump banner offstage, saying on his Instagram story that he was "proud" of Hughes.

This is not the first time Hughes has stood up to Trump using social media. At the start of Pride Month on June 1, the out actor posted a shirtless pic of himself on Instagram with the caption: "I am a proud gay man and will not be ignored and overlooked by this despicable president! Happy Pride Month to the entire LGBTQ community! Say it loudly so the president is forced to recognize us!"

Elsa and Anna would be proud of Hughes! Don't these Trump supporters know that love is an open door?
