Gabby Douglas, the 16-year-old gymnast from Virginia Beach, has become America’s favorite athlete during these Olympic games. She is always smiling, remarkably well-spoken and incredibly awesome.
She is also of course an amazingly gifted athlete, as anyone who has seen her on the vault, floor, beam or bars can attest to, so let’s take a look at some of her best photos from competition this week. They don’t call her The Flying Squirrel for nothing.
