If you're dying for a new season of Game of Thrones and can't wait until next Sunday, or just think the fantasy series would be more appealing if set in an American high school, this YouTube series is for you.

"School of Thrones" parody series that transplants the characters of Westeros into a high school setting, where families become cliques and the ultimate goal is Prom King and Queen. The Starks are Hipsters, the Greyjoys are water polo players, the Baratheons are the jocks.

“A lot of our thoughts about high school are shaped by classic thoughts about high school such as The Breakfast Club and Mean Girls,” co-producer Whitney Milam told The Daily Beast. “We wanted to see how the characters would fit into these established conceptions of what high school is because that’s where the humor is.”

Casting highlights include Mary Kate Wiles of "The Lizzie Bennett Diaries" as Sansa Stark, Team StarKid's Joey Richter constantly in a speedo as Theon Greyjoy, and bewigged Ashly Burch playing Dani Targaryen. With such YouTube royalty involved the episodes have naturally topped 2 million views in less than a month. The self-contained 3-part prom series is completed, but leaves the door open to develop further arcs in the future.
