Billy Eichner's hilariously obnoxious street antics have had us gagging for a while now. Apparently, Parks And Recreation queen Amy Poehler found them pretty funny, too—she just tapped the out-and-proud jokester for Difficult People, an upcoming USA series co-starring cult-fave comic Julie Klausner.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the network has greenlighted a half-hour pilot for the show, which sees Eichner and Klausner "star as frustrated comedians and pop culture-loving best friends... who hate everyone—except each other."

Previously, Poehler and Eichner have worked together on Parks and Recereation, with producers interested in creating a more long-term role for Eichner's character on the show. The new venture will also be a continuation on Klausner and Eichner collaborations; the duo had worked together on Billy on the Street.
