We know when you ask, “what’s so gay about Glee?” the obvious answer is, “everything.” But we’re here to break down the queerest bits of Glee into bit-sized morsels for your enjoyment. Think of us as your gay cheat sheet to Glee fandom.
This week we had coming out drama and election results, and also some other plots with the adults that no one cares about. Still, our favorite queers delivered.
1. Kurt Hummel’s Knitwear Collection. We got both a grey poncho and a strange one-sleeved, half body tan number this episode. Where do you even find this stuff in Lima, Ohio? Because you can’t really buy that blind on the Internet, you need to know the fit!
2. Lady Music Week. Melissa Etheridge. K.D. Lang. Cyndi Lauper. Pink. Katy Perry. The girls have it this week on Glee and they did a good job keeping in queer and queer friendly.
3. Kurt and Blaine Sing Pink Songs In The Car. Everything about the “F–kn’ Perfect” performance was adorable, but we think the off-screen images of the two of them belting Pink songs on their way to the Lima Bean is, well, f–kn perfect.
4. Sugar Motta’s Unicorn Hand Gesture. She was killing it with her background reactions all episode, but the cute little unicorn horn she made when Kurt conceded the presidency to Britt and Britt named him the biggest unicorn was the icing on the cake.
