There have been plenty of showbiz psychics through the decades, but a new clairvoyant is set to take the world of reality TV by storm.

Meet gay psychic Tyler Henry.

Henry, 20, is the star of Hollywood Medium, an eight-part series on E! that sees him helping celebrities contact their dearly departed. Stars conjuring loved ones in Season One include NeNe Leakes, Margaret Cho, Snooki, Michael Sam, Ross Matthews and Boy George.

He says being gay and psychic was something of a double whammy.

"Not only did I have this ability to see things that most people couldn’t relate to, but I was gay," he told Out, "Which, in two very different ways, made me feel isolated at times throughout my life."

But it enabled him to tap his inner strength.

"I do feel like both instilled a sense of confidence and a sense of pride in who I am as an individual."
